Charles E. Harrell, 78, of North Manchester, Indiana, died at 10:26 a.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at his home.  He was born in Lagro, Indiana to the late Herman and Mary (Miller) Harrell on March 24, 1939.

Charles married Chattie Hale on November 21, 1971; she survives.  He retired from General Tire in Wabash and attended the Wabash Apostolic Church.

Along with his wife, he is survived by son, Danny Joe Harrell, LaFontaine, Indiana; Step-sons, Jimmy (Pauline) Starr, Ray (Stella) Starr and Garry (Tina) Starr all of Wabash; Step-daughters, Linda (Arthur) Hughes, Wabash and Fay Starr, North Manchester, Indiana; Seventeen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana  46992 with Pastor Jeremy Lang officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Etna Cemetery, Mt. Etna, Indiana.
