Catherine Anne Marks, 75, went to be with Christ on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at approximately 5:00 p.m at her home in LaFontaine. She was born to the late Walter Lewis King Jr. and Catherine Louise (Linton) King on July 20, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio. She was a 1955 graduate of LaFontaine High School. She married Jack Richard Marks on June 12, 1955, he passed away November 6, 2006. She retired from the food service industry at the V.A. Hospital in Marion, Indiana. She was a member of the LaFontaine United Methodist Church in LaFontaine, Indiana. She loved shopping, cooking, and spending time with her family. She is survived by two sons, Christopher Lee Marks (Tywanna) of LaFontaine, Indiana and Brian Douglas Marks (Lisa) of Wabash, Indiana; three daughters, Julie Guenin (Gordon) of LaFontaine, Indiana, Nola Smith (Scott) of Huntington, Indiana, and Tina Scott (Jason) of Bluffton, Indiana; two brothers, Walter "Bud" Lewis King III of Warsaw, Indiana and William "Bill" King of LaFontaine, Indiana; a sister, Cynthia King (Mike) of Fairmont, Indiana; ten grandchildren, Brittany Marks of Marion, Indiana, Andrew Guenin and Seth Guenin of LaFontaine, Indiana, Megan Marks and Mark Marks of Wabash, Indiana, Nick Bridenthal, of Huntington, Tiffany Bridenthal, of Florida, Tyler Smith and Taylor Smith of Huntington, Indiana, and Bree Scott of Bluffton, Indiana, and 5 great grandchildren, Tyler Perry, Katherine Norine Bradford, Roran Guenin, and Tanner and Emberlyn Bridenthal. She is also survived by a step mother, Anita Dittemer (Howard) of LaFontaine. Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a sister, Annabelle Lee King. Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel, 104 S. Main Street, LaFontaine, In 46940.
