Carol J. Turley, 81, of Wabash, passed away at 11:35 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Rolling Meadows Health and Rehabilitation, LaFontaine, Indiana. She was born in Wabash on March 27, 1936 to the late Melvin and Dorothy (Beekman) Snowberger.

Carol was a 1954 graduate of Wabash High School. She married Robert Turley on April 24, 1954.  She worked for Kmart for 22 years and retired from Sears & Roebuck.

Carol is survived by her husband Robert; three sons, Michael Turley, Wabash, Robert (Susie) Turley, California and Jeffrey (Diane) Turley, Richmond, Virginia; four daughters, Kim (Charles) Whitton, LaFontaine, Teri (Tony) Moon, Richmond, Virginia, Debra Turley, Indianapolis and Lori (Eric) Paul, Laramie, Wyoming; Sixteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by two brothers and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2108 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash with Pastor Nick Driskill officiating. Burial will follow at Mississinewa Cemetery, Somerset.  Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
