Carol Diane Carter, 63, a lifetime resident of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 9:26 a.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born to Max E. and Margaret G. (Rice) Carter on November 5, 1961, in Wabash, Indiana.

Carol was a 1980 graduate of Wabash High School. She retired from being a healthcare worker after many years. Carol was a member of Saint Bernard Catholic Church in Wabash. She was very devoted to her family and the caretaker of all the children and grandchildren. Carol was the best aunt to many. She had the biggest heart, caring for her family and others.

Carol is survived by her two sons, Jeremy (Ashley) Carter of Wabash, Indiana, Evan (Amber Tyner) Carter of Wabash, Indiana; three grandchildren, Brynna Carter, Matthew Wuensch, Trevor Wuensch, all of Wabash, Indiana; two sisters, Cindy (Barry) Booth and Lynn (Darrell) Thompson, both of Wabash, Indiana; two brothers, Gary (Pat Pierce) Carter of Glasgow, Kentucky, Mark (Julie) Coon of Wabash, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Larry Coon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 207 Cass Street, Wabash, Indiana with Father Jay Horning officiating. Burial will follow at Falls Cemetery.

Calling hours will be two hours prior to mass from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at the church.
