Bobby Gayle Fife, 65, rural Wabash, passed away  12:02 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Wabash County Hospital in Wabash, Indiana.

He was born to the late J.T. and Clara (Woodall) Fife on July 7, 1945 in Pikeville, Kentucky. He married Dianne Garrett on December 31, 1993, she survives. Bobby and Dianne shared their lives together since 1972. He served his country in the United States Army. He worked most of his life cutting down trees for firewood.

Along with his wife, Dianne; he is survived by two sons, Max Garrett (Christina) of Andrews and Bobby Garrett of LaFontaine; brother, Roger Fife of Wabash; grandchildren, Max Jr., Bryan, Alexander, Cheyanne, Aimee and Abby; three half brothers and three half sisters all of Pike County, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Fife.

Services will be 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992. Officiating the services will be Pastor Tim Prater. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Servia, Indiana.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
