Amelia V. Wischman

Amelia V. Wischman, 92, passed away at 1:13 a.m., on Monday, August 31, 2026, at Marion Health in Marion, Indiana.  She was born on June 27, 1934, to Michael Tonis and Viola Tonis in Virginia, Minnesota.

Amelia is survived by her sons, Franklin Wischman of Lake Station, Indiana, Fredrick Wischman of Wabash, Indiana, Arthur Wischman, Jr. of Wabash, Indiana, Johnny Wischman of Wabash, Indiana, and Louis Wischman of Portage, Indiana; daughters, Janice Allendorf of Wabash, Indiana, and Ruth (Jerry) Honeycutt of Wabash, Indiana; 21 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 18 great great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Benice of Chesterton, Indiana, and Rose Tonis of Gary, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arthur F. Wischman, brothers, Jim Tonis and Bill Tonis, and sister, Helen Jurob. 

A celebration of Amelia's life will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Erie Street Baptist Church in Wabash, Indiana.
