Amanda Lynn Skeans, 41, of Andrews, Indiana, passed away at 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at University Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born on October 12, 1984, to Malissa Jane Timmons in Monticello, Indiana.

Amanda married Khrystopher J. Skeans on August 5, 2020. She enjoyed doing a multitude of crafts and watching true crime documentaries. Amanda loved spending time with her family and her beloved dog, Athena. 

Amanda is survived by her husband, Khrystopher Skeans of Andrews, Indiana; two daughters, Kylie Finton of Muncie, Indiana, Kiara Finton of Andrews, Indiana; one son, Gauge Finton of Huntington, Indiana; her mother, Malissa Timmons of Picayune, Mississippi; stepdaughter, Ryleigh-Ann Skeans of Columbia City, Indiana; two brothers, Bradley Lawrence of LaFontaine, Indiana, John Lawrence of Kokomo, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Scott Lawrence, who passed away on August 11, 2014.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at McDonald Funeral Home, Wabash Chapel, 231 Falls Ave., Wabash, Indiana 46992. Burial will follow at Mississinewa Memorial Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

Visitation for friends and family will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
