I am thinking you; the family and friends that loved Lucille. I did know her well, but I liked my experiences with her very much. Feisty and lived her way. My kind of person.

I met Lucille when delivering Meals on Wheels to her when she broke her arm a number of years ago. She was always a bright spot in my Tuesdays. Often she was my last stop and so we had time to visit. It was fun to discover our MANY connections -- what a small world!

Love being with her and going fishing and eating fish at her place. Seems so long ago. Love and prayers to the family. May she rest in peace.

Family of Mary Drook,
There are few experiences more difficult than the loss of a loved one. Having endured such a loss, I find comfort in knowing death was not God’s purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed.
God’s word is clear, “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. (Isaiah 25:8). The grief and sorrow we experience is temporary. (Revelation 21:4). It is because of Jehovah God’s purpose and great love for mankind, that the restoration of life is guaranteed!
Jesus not only spoke of the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), he himself was resurrected by his Father and performed many miracles including resurrections. All such miraculous events took place on earth giving us a precious glimpse of what is to come! (Acts 24:15)
As you cherish the many fond memories of Mrs. Drook, may Jehovah God continue to bless your family during this difficult time and in the days ahead......
