Teresa K. (Crace) Smith

Teresa K. (Crace) Smith, 63, of Wabash, Indiana passed away at 1:52 a.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Parkview Huntington Hospital in Huntington, Indiana. She was born on May 12, 1960, to Eugene Paul and Eula Jane (Martin) Crace in Wabash, Indiana.

Teresa was a 1978 graduate of Wabash High School. She married Douglas Smith on December 24, 1980, in Wabash, Indiana. She held a membership at Wabash Free Will Baptist Church in Wabash, Indiana, where she would help teach Vacation Bible School. She worked at Singer Controls for several years in North Manchester, Indiana. In her free time, she enjoyed doing crafts, making art, tending to her flower garden, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Douglas Smith; two sons, Shane (Tiffany) Smith of Wabash, Indiana, Ryan (Maranda) Smith of Peru, Indiana; three brothers, Kenneth Crace, Darvin (Jenny) Crace, Jason Crace all of Wabash, Indiana; two sisters Caity Crace, Pamela (Dave) McKnight both of Wabash, Indiana; four grandchildren, Blake Smith, Ashton Smith, Jackson Smith, and Ella Smith. She is preceded in death by her parents and one son, Landon Smith who passed November 21, 2015.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Wabash Free Will Baptist Church, 1056 Erie Street Wabash, Indiana 46992 with Pastor Bill Crank and Reverend Tim Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Falls Cemetery in Wabash, Indiana.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at McDonald Funeral Homes, Wabash Chapel, 231 Falls Avenue, Wabash, Indiana 46992.
