Elizabeth Elaine Cochran

Elizabeth Elaine Cochran, 79, of LaFontaine, Indiana passed away at 5:20 a.m. on April 2, 2024, at Waters of Wabash East. She was born on May 10, 1944, to Russell and Evelyn (Rush) Cook, in Marion, Indiana.

 Elaine was a graduate of Southwood High School. She held a membership with Rebecca Lodge in LaFontaine, Indiana. She enjoyed playing Euchre, listening to her favorite country artist, Willie Nelson, and keeping score for her son’s pool league. She was an avid reader, especially reading Mrs. Pollifax books. 

 Elaine is survived by her two sons, Jason (Tammy) Cochran of Upland, Indiana, Joshua Cochran of LaFontaine, Indiana; two daughters, Lynn Ellis of Wabash, Indiana, Amy Razor of Delaware, Ohio; one brother, Hugh (Connie) Cook of LaFontaine, Indiana; three grandchildren, Evan (Elly) Razor, Alec (Rachel Russ) Razor, Ethan Razor; two great-grandchildren, Patton Razor, Lawson Razor; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a friend for over seventy years, Becky Elliott of Wabash, Indiana. She is preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Kevin Cochran.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024, at McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chape, 104 South Main Street, LaFontaine, Indiana 46940, with Pastor Brad Wright officiating. Burial will follow at LaFontaine I.O.O.F Cemetery in LaFontaine, Indiana.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday, April 5, 2024, at the funeral home.
