Nevin was a wonderful, kind caring man. I had the privilege of meeting him back in 1975. Could not ask for a friendlier and fun guy. My husband met him later on and we just thought he was an all around great guy. He will truley be missed by all who knew and loved him. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

One of life's enduring blessings are the friendships that we share and many of the earliest friendship are often the best. The Hettmansperger family and the Latchem family were neighbors for over 40 years and one of my fondest memories is my friendship with Bud, Neil, Janice, and Susan. Bud, as we knew him, was one of the "big kids" who always looked after us "little kids" and was a wonderful role model for all. My condolences to the entire family. The positive difference he made in so many lives will endur.

Please forgive me in my previous post when I mistakenly referred to Nevin' nickname as Bud. Of course, it was "Bub" but I'm guessing he would forgive me for my mistake....

To the family, my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. As you cope with your loss, may you find comfort in knowing that God promises to put an end to all the things that have plagued mankind for centuries including death (Revelation 21:3,4). May you find peace in knowing that your dear one is safe in the memory of God, who will remember every detail about them and bring them back again (Job 14:13,15). May these words from God's word, the Bible give you comfort now and strong hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.
