Donald Ray Webb

Donald Ray Webb, 76, passed away on October 13, 2017 at his home surrounded by family in Wabash, Indiana. He was born on April 2, 1941 to Melvin “Ted” Webb and Clara Marie (Ramey) Webb in Butcher Holler, Kentucky.

He attended Wabash High School and retired from Martin Yale. He enjoyed fishing, playing and singing music, and he was an avid mushroom hunter. He was very proud of the fact that he was a recorded songwriter.

Donald is survived by his wife Debra (Ross) Webb, two daughters; Janie (Troy) O’Dell of Roann, Indiana, Donna Webb of Kokomo, Indiana. A son; Michael Webb of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. A stepdaughter; Paula Ross of Indiana. Four sisters; Loretta Lynn of Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, Peggy (Sonny) Wright of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Brenda (Bill) Gatzimos of Nashville, Tennessee, and Betty (Gene) Hopkins of Hendersonville, Tennessee. One brother; Herman Webb of Van Lear, Kentucky. Step-sister, Lawanda Butcher Pegram, Columbus, Ohio. 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A special niece Kristin Snyder, and a best friend Paul Mollett. He was proceeded in death by his parents and brothers; Melvin Webb Jr. and Jay Lee Webb and by his Step-Father, Tommy Butcher.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Ave, Wabash, IN 46992 with Pastor Daniel Boone officiating. Calling hours will be from 2p.m. to 7p.m. on Tuesday October 17, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Falls Cemetery in Wabash, IN.
