I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Charles in person, however, I graduated high school with his wife Delores. From the many postings on Facebook, I can tell that he was a wonderful husband and father, grandfather and great grandfather. Their marriage was truly blessed and my sympathies to Delores and his loving family. They are in my thoughts and prayers tonight.

I am so very sorry for the passing of your husband and father. He was a wonderful man, always full of life and such a joy to be around. Although this is a difficult time, know that Charlie no longer has to suffer and he is at peace with my dad I'm heaven.
I'm writing this message from Tulsa, Oklahoma as his funeral Mass is being offered.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I don't have a lot of memories of Charles but what I have are fond. I remember he was home from the Air Force once and came to visit us in Marion. He carried me on his shoulders from our house over to Art and Alice's house. Always a smile on his face. He will be missed.
